Bishop Cider Co.

The Bishop Cider Company is small-scale, local hard cider brewery located in the Bishop Arts District of Dallas, Texas. 

What first began as a hobby for a local photographer quickly became an opportunity to shine light on a  lacking area in the adult beverage scene. The brewer knew he wanted to be located in the Bishop Arts District and hold a similar name to keep in line with the local craftsman production that the area supports. Playing off of the area name, a mark was created in the form of an iconic Bishop chess piece. The chess connection was carried further with a simple  and stark black and white color palette. These design choices portray the "no frills" attitude of the brewery's mission: focus on the flavor.
